No key override! Why Not?
With 30 plus years in the restricted access
industry, this feature only made good sense
to us. Would you spend the
extra money for
an electronic keypad system, when
all you
need to open the safe would be a KEY?!
Maybe it's because the other guys run on
AA batteries that don't last long?!
The LL2 series will operate on a more
reliable 12 VDC battery ONLY if the power
goes out. This battery is for BACK UP. It
will automatically recharge when power is restored
and that’s the way it should be.
Question:
What if the power AND the battery goes out? An extreme situation but possible.
Answer:
The LL2 will lock down and the safe will be
inaccessible. That is the way it should be!
